HI! My name is Nicole Czekalski. I am from Columbia SC and in my 19th year as a public school dance educator. I'm currently in my 13th year as the Dance Program Director at Palmetto Center for the Arts. The program I took over 13 years ago at RNE High was actually my high school dance teacher's program so I feel lucky to carry on her legacy! We perform 2 full length ballets a year which is truly the thing I love the most! I also work for South Carolina Ballet (Social Media) & Columbia Conservatory (Coaching), Southern Strutt (Ballet Instructor) and have a Ballet Consultation business where I help aspiring Ballet dancers from all over the country plan for their future in Trainee Programs or College Dance Programs. I have one daughter named Ava who is 14 years old. She is on scholarship at the Professional Program at Houston Ballet and lives in the dorm there. I also have two dogs named Sven and Clara and am married to a former English Teacher who was recently on Jeopardy!
